The holidays can be a tricky time of year.
We’ve had our share of years where we’ve crawled away and waited it out.
So we get it.
And we wanted to do something. So we’ve got a couple of books to give away, plus a big ol’ discount on our card decks.
25% off the price of our Reach Your Big Calm Cards (for US residents only). Just enter coupon code SALE25 at the checkout! Click here to order!
The messages are simple, and they get to the heart of why we feel yuck. Good medicine for the soul. Great gifts too! Click Here. (Discount available through to Cyber Monday.)
(If you live outside the US, they’re now available on Amazon. Unfortunately shipping prices have shot up so much (over $23 per deck to send) it doesn’t make any sense for us to send them. Our apologies. But Amazon has competitive shipping rates and it really is the best way now.)
We’d also like to give away a couple of copies of Whose Mind Is It Anyway?
It was an exciting year for us with the release of our first book. We’re pleased the response has been from young and old alike finding it to be a great companion when you’re feeling a bit shite. And from those who just needed a little help seeing what their thoughts can get up to and some of the tricks our mind can play.
To be drawn Tuesday.
Tell us what you’re up to if you feel like it. (We’re currently making a late breakfast of sweet potato waffles.)
And a Love Note From Us …
If you’ve got the energy to power through and make this the best holiday season ever, that’s great. But, if you’re feeling lousy and lonely and you can’t be bothered getting out of bed, that’s okay too.
It feels horrible, but it’s not wrong. It’s your holiday too, after all. You can’t mess it up by doing what’s right for you.
Sometimes the hurdle of actually showing up for a holiday is totally worth it—but the anticipation of being surrounded by family or of being totally alone can psyche us out from enjoying the good things around us—even if it’s just taking a walk.
Don’t rule out the possibility of the holidays being a totally nurturing time.
Maybe good stuff is right around the corner.
But, if that’s not in the cards this year, for whatever reason, please take good care of yourself. Stay in the bath all morning. Watch movies. Go for a walk. Call a friend.
With love,
Lisa and Franco
