because I miss them
and I’ve become a complete pain
walking down the street
stopping everyone I meet
with a dog
because they remind me of you ….
Max and Rocky
Two little Maltese Terriers
aged 6 and a half, who
for just about their whole lives have been no more than a few meters away
from me (they’re very friendly little dogs),
and who I’m sure
are very fine back in New Zealand
with my parents.
